Google is planning to release an 8-inch Nexus 8 tablet in this summer.
Huge Competition has already experienced the price of smaller tablets that run on Google's Android Operating System drop to the $150 mark,and in spite of latest Nexus 7 being considered by pretty much all tech commentators as best Android tablet currently available,at $229 for the entry level model it could be too costly for many consumers.
The company intends to launch a smaller version of its own surface Tablet and intends to build one with an 8 -inch screen so as not to compete with manufacturing partners who are now offering windows-powered tablets with a 7-inch display.
In addition to changing its size,it could be getting a new type of processor,courtesy of Intel.
